![]() I love that they assign you to a game ranger for the whole stay there, so you get to know them and feel safe when they are driving you around. Our way to the camp felt like a game drive, we saw warthogs, giraffe, impala and a lot of colourful birds. Minamalistic but very comfortable and spacious. We were welcomed warmly and had a lovely comfortable chalet. Bayala was such a wonderful experience for my 9year old curious daughter and I. Junior and Wallie encouraged us to be patient and they set out looking for. We drove around waiting for our turn and heard that they’d lost the sighting. Halfway into our game drive we heard there’d been a special sighting but we were last on the list. It was a little funny that springbok carpaccio was on the menu after we’d admired so many bucks. The food at dinner was cooked to perfection. It’s just the leopard, that’s hard to spot, that we didn’t see. On our first drive we saw 4/5 of the big five plus loads of other animals. ![]() ![]() Junior, our ranger was absolutely phenomenal. This allowed us to ask as many questions and stop as many times as we could without annoying anyone.
